In-service training for Australian Teachers of French

Programs for in-service training of Australian teachers of French

In 2005, the Embassy of France launched a new program to support the teaching of French in Australia. This program has been collaboratively created with the associations of French teachers, the departments of education at state level, the associations of independent and catholic schools and the main Alliances Françaises. Joint advisory groups in each state, with representatives of all these institutions, design an annual project. The Alliances Françaises organise the activities. This program has been implemented until now in the ACT, Queensland, South Australia, Victoria and Western Australia.
