After their meeting, both Prime Ministers held a joint press conference where they talked about the submarine decision. "Those submarines are the best" declared Malcolm Turnbull, reminding that Australia is an "island country" which needs to have the best equipment. "The strategic relation between France and Australia is changing" according to Manuel Valls, adding that both of countries share "a long history that links our people and our destinies."
