Conference at RMIT "France : EU and Australia" [fr]
On 26 September at the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology, RMIT, held a conference entitled France: EU and Australia, organised by Professor Bruce Wilson, Director of the European Centre. The French ambassador, H.E. Stéphane Romatet, spoke on the role of France in Europe in the context of a constantly changing environment. Douglas Webber, Professor at INSEAD, raised the issue of Franco-German relations in the EU. The other two speakers included Mrs Myriam Boisvouvier-Wylie, Honorary Consul of France in Melbourne and Mr Gilbert Ducasse, President of the Alliance Française in Melbourne. Professor Nathalie Doyle, Deputy Director of the Center For European Studies at Monash University was the moderator for the event.
