AgreenSkills - international mobility program

AgreenSkills and AgreenSkills+ are international mobility programmes co-funded by the European Union’s Seventh Framework Programme for research, technological development and demonstration under grant agreements no. FP7-267196 and no. FP7-609398, respectively.

Both programmes are coordinated by INRA in cooperation with Agreenium.http://www.agreenskills.eu/About-AgreenSkills

AgreenSkills and AgreenSkills+ are international incoming-outgoing postdoctoral fellowship programmes designed to increase the research potential and career prospectives of inventive, promising and experienced researchers from all disciplines to better respond to the current and future challenges in the fields of agriculture, food, nutrition, environment, animal health and veterinary public health. Disciplinary or multidisciplinary projects developed within AgreenSkills will contribute directly or indirectly to the scientific objectives of the Agreenium members and the European Commission.

AgreenSkills is open to experienced young researchers holding a PhD - by mobility start date - and having less than or equal to 6 years’ research experience after their PhD.

Its successor, AgreenSkills+ is open to independent researchers who have between 7 and up to a maximum of 10 years’ research experience following their PhD.

AgreenSkills and AgreenSkills+ welcome fellows incoming to Agreenium institutions’ receiving laboratories and outgoing from these same organisations without discrimination in terms of nationality, gender or career breaks.

Researchers will freely propose their topics, construct their research projects and identify the laboratories they wish to work, assisted, if necessary, by the AgreenSkills management team.

AgreenSkills and AgreenSkills+ do not only provide researchers with international experience and very attractive salaries (ranging from €3500 up to €5000 according to research experience); they are also designed to allow fellows to boost or diversify the next part of their career, be it scientific or non-scientific, within the public and private sector.

AgreenSkills and AgreenSkills+ are compliant with the Code of Conduct for the Recruitment of Researchers, the European Charter for Researchers and the ethical procedures and regulations of the European Commission.
