93rd anniversary of the 1918 armistice
The Embassy of France in Australia has commemorated the 93rd anniversary of the Armistice which marked the end of the First World War, Friday 11th of November.
A memorial ceremony, presided by HE Mr. Stéphane Romatet, Ambassador-designated of France to Australia and The Hon. Warren Snowdon, Minister for Veterans’ Affairs, took place in front of the French-Australian War Memorial located within the grounds of the Embassy of France, in the presence of veterans and personalities of the diplomatic corps.
